Integrative Medicine Services

What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative medicine is an approach to healthcare that combines traditional medical solutions and treatments with conventional methods, therapies, and procedures. The defining principles of integrative medicine is a whole-body approach, and openness to self-exploration and development.

We draw upon approaches from Western medicine, Naturopathy, Ayurveda, herbal medicine, nutrition and supplement science, mindfulness practices, and mind-body based therapies.

Personalized Treatment Plans

We are all different with unique tendencies. What works for one individual may not work for another. With an integrative approach, we ensure the solutions we develop will meet your individualized needs that focus on your unique mix of skin health, gut health, mind-body needs, and diet.

A typical approach in skin care is to wait until something goes wrong and then treat the skin whether itโ€™s with topical creams or with procedures. Integrative medicine has a different approach where you can be more proactive and consider all parts of you that affect your health.

Some of the factors that affect your health where we take both an outside-in or inside-out approach:

  • Skin Tendencies: we look to see whether you have oily, dry, sensitive, thin, or inflamed skin and tailor our approach accordingly
  • Gut Health: symptom such as gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, or signs of leaky gut and inflammation can all affect your general health.
  • Nutrition: what you eat and how your pair your diet to your bodyโ€™s tendencies are important to addressing your medical needs
  • Mindfulness and Mind-Body Approaches: we develop plans that incorporate practices that can calm you mind and boost your ability to take on stress
  • Exercise: Your exercise regimens can be tailored to your bodyโ€™s needs
  • Integrative Medicine Is Personalized from the Outside-In and the Inside-Out
  • Ayurvedic Medicine

Ayurvedic medicine is over 5000 years old and is a practice that comes from India. Ayurveda is a personalized approach to health, believing that products, ingredients, food, and external factors cause imbalances in the body and mind. Ayurveda encourages you to be an active participant in your own healing journey.
