Biostim with Sculptra and Radiesse
Zen Dermatology offers the latest in bio rejuvenation and biostimulatory treatments to help you achieve a more naturally youthful and radiant appearance. One of the most exciting developments in the minimally invasive anti-aging and aesthetic field is the use of hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra Aesthetic to stimulate collagen production, reverse the signs and underlying symptoms of aging and enhance your natural beauty.
As we age, our skin and underlying tissues lose collagen and elastin, as well as structural support leading to an increase in wrinkles, sagging, loss of volume, fine lines, and a dull complexion. But with hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra Aesthetic, we can actively increase your body’s own collagen production and both prevent and reverse the signs of aging.
So, what exactly is hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra Aesthetic? Both are injectable treatments that contain tiny particles of calcium hydroxylapatite (in the case of Radiesse) or poly-L-lactic acid, a polymer of lactic acid (in the case of Sculptra). When injected in small quantities, these biocompatible and biodegradable particles stimulate your body to produce new collagen and elastin, leading to smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.
Biostim with Sculptra and Radiesse
Hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra Aesthetic are particularly effective because they are injected in very small amounts, spread out over a larger area to create a more natural-looking result. It’s like feeding miracle grow to your fibroblast cells which activates them to create more collagen and elastin. This technique helps to stimulate collagen production and natural re-volumization and smoothing without creating the telltale “overfilled” or “frozen” look that can sometimes occur with other injectable treatments.
The benefits of hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra are numerous. Not only do these natural biostimulators help to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, but they also create a more lifted and contoured appearance, restore lost volume, and create a glowing, radiant complexion.
Unlike traditional fillers, which simply add volume to the face, hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra Aesthetic work by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen production, which means that the results can last for months or even years. Whereas HA (Hyalurinic acid) fillers add volume that is not necessarily yours, the additional volume Biostimulators promote is entirely your own, creating the most natural rejuvenation available.
Another way to look at the difference between HA fillers and Biostimulators including hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra Aesthetic is to think of it like renting vs owning. Volume created from the injection of HA fillers is temporary and rented, vs the volume and restoration created by biostimulators such as Sculptra Aesthetic and hyperdilute Radiesse occurs upon the stimulation of your body’s own natural collagen and elastin and its 100% you.
If you’re looking for a safe, effective, and natural way to enhance your natural beauty and achieve a more youthful appearance, then Biostimulation using hyperdilute Radiesse and/or Sculptra Aesthetic may be the perfect choice for you.
Biostimulators can be combined with microneedling, radiofrequency skin tightening (Vivace, RF Microneedling as well as Thermismooth RF), IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), HA dermal fillers (such as Restylane Contour, Restylane Defyne, Restylane Kysse, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Silk, Restylane L, Juvederm Ultra XC, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Juvederm Volbella XC, Juvederm Vollure XC, Juvederm Voluma XC), wrinkle relaxers (such as Botox, Jeuveau, Dysport, Xeomin and Daxify), or some of our laser resurfacing services such as Fotona 4D, Fraxel Dual, Clear + Brilliant, Erbium Fractional ablative and non ablative modalities and CO2 to give you full transformation and optimal results.

FAQs
Here are some frequently asked questions about biostim and biorejuvenation for hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra:
Biorejuvenation is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that uses Hyperdilute Radiesse or Sculptra Aesthetic to stimulate collagen production and improve the overall appearance (volume loss, fine lines, wrinkles, crepey, loose or sagging, hallows, cellulite) of the skin.
Biostim and biorejuvenation work by injecting small amounts of hyperdilute Radiesse or Sculptra into specific layers of the skin. These injections stimulate the body’s natural type I and III collagen production, which helps to restore volume and improve skin texture and tone.
The results of biostim and biorejuvenation can vary, but generally last greater than 18-24 months, often longer.
The number of treatments needed depends on the individual and their specific goals. Typically, patients receive 2-3 treatments spaced about 8 weeks apart initially to achieve the desired transformative results. Patients will then return typically for a single maintenance treatment annually.
After treatment, patients may experience some swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising at or below the level of the injection site. These side effects typically subside within a few days. Patients can usually return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. It is important to avoid excessive sun exposure and to use sunscreen to protect the skin.
